I Miss Syracuse when I'm not there. Especially their milkshakes from Strong Hearts. Apparently JJ misses Syracuse too.
It's a pretty standard diner with pretty average prices, although slightly higher than I would hope or expect for a little diner in the center off of Pretty working-class town. It's been awhile since I ate here, although it used to be a regular stop for us. It's one of those lovely silver boxcar diners and true classic Americana. -

Do. not. go. here. I ordered an apple juice and when it came to the table it has a weird cloudy thing floating in the top. I was just going to leave it but my boyfriend fished it out with a fork. Best case scenario there was a RAW EGG WHITE floating in my drink. I don't even want to think about what else it could have been, but it was gelatinous and so wrong on so many levels.

Nice Diner setting. Food was ok. Everything is ala carte here so your 6 dollar omelette will end up costing about 9 bucks. Home fries ala carte also. Good service, eggs overcooked though.

Got the pancake and scrambled eggs special, which didn't taste like they were from a carton. Food was all right, not exorbitant for a diner but not an amazing deal either.
Service was friendly and the joint was clean. The inside was small and cute - old fashioned diner.
OK to stop if you're visiting the Erie Canal museum and just want some quick diner fare. -

Cute little diner with a very welcoming staff.
Solid coffee and food at a reasonable price. Prices are cheap for the 'base' meals, but can add up a tad with additions so just keep that in mind.
Good for a quick meal if you are in a hurry, or a fun place to relax with coffee and chat with the owner. Much prefer supporting a local diner like this than a chain.
